Update: 2018-2019 AC-U-KWIK Managers’ World Edition

AC-U-KWIK is pleased to announce the release of the 2018-2019 Managers’ World Edition. Print versions are shipping this week to customers from our warehouse in Kansas City and can be ordered from the AC-U-KWIK website. In addition, the iOS eBook app update released last week, and the 2018-2019 edition is now available. Current subscribers should have received an update notification to download the new edition, or they can check the Apple App Store for updates. Update to ACUKWIK iOS App Resolves Database Issue

The AC-U-KWIK iOS App development team released version 1.2.48 to the Apple App store on Aug. 27, 2018. The update resolves issues for users unable to gain access to the app because of a required database download. The update should be available to active AC-U-KWIK iOS app users in the Apple App store under the Update section. The update may also be accessed from the app details page in the app store.

After the update, users will need to re-login to the app and perform the data update and diagram update to use the app.

Everything Is Awesome in Turkish Airlines’ Safety Video

Earlier this month, a hip new in-flight safety video hit the internet like a ton of bricks.

Lego bricks and minifigures tell Turkish Airlines passengers how to stow their carry-on bags, adjust their oxygen masks and evacuate.

This video is the latest in what appears to be a friendly, and trendy, competition. Which airline can produce the cutest, most clever, most memorable method of conveying mandatory civil aviation regulations?

Our colleague Karen Walker at Air Transport World compares it to other safety videos. Although she thinks simple safety briefings are better, especially for business travelers, the Lego video and the others she mentions are worth a watch.
