Millen Air Opens at KDTN

Millen Air opened at KDTN in Shreveport on Nov. 1.Millen Air, an upscale FBO located three minutes from the downtown Shreveport business community, opened its doors on Nov. 1.

For some pilots, going to certain airports is like a horror story: The congestion and hustle and bustle of such a huge place, people who don't seem to have time for you and apparently couldn't care less about you or where you are going. There is no decent place to relax and nothing more constructive to do than watch time pass. The airport is too far from town with no good way to get there.

FBOs such as Millen Air have features that would make those horror-story airports forgettable.

Millen Air is three minutes from downtown, the Bass Pro Shop, the casinos, and the LA Boardwalk. Why be 20-30 minutes away when you can be right in the hub of things?

This new FBO at DTN has a newly furbished lounge, a relaxing media room with theater-style recliners, snooze rooms for privacy and security, and an exercise room with state-of-the-art equipment. Crew cars, courtesy cars, and rental cars are available. There also is a refreshment counter in the main lobby with snacks and drinks. The flight planning room contains new MAC computers.
