Hangar Ten Appoints Larry Peet As Director Of Sales

In this new position, Peet will be responsible for developing the innovative aircraft sales program that places an emphasis on coaching rather than selling the customer.

“In developing this new aircraft sales program, we looked at the process a buyer goes through in trying to decide which aircraft is the right choice for the mission,” said Jim Stowers, founder and developer of Hangar 10 and Hangar 10 Aircraft Sales. “Where as a typical aircraft broker is centered on the sales process, we’ve taken the approach of being a personal coach or an advocate of the customer. In other words, we’re there for the customer every step of the way, offering information needed to make an informed decision.”

Prior to joining Hangar 10 Sales, Peet was Director of Operations and Aircraft Sales for Port City Air in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He also worked as Vice President of Aircraft Sales for Carolina Jet in New England, and spent nine years in Sales and Marketing at Cessna Aircraft Company leading business development for the Citation Mustang.

Kyle Eiserer, General Manager of Hangar 10, said Peet’s vast aircraft sales experience is a foundation for the new coaching approach.

“It’s been our experience, as both buyers and sellers of aircraft, that knowledge is key and helping a customer through the process results in a smoother transaction,” Eiserer said. “By positioning Hangar 10 as a coaching advocate, the buyer is more at ease and able to concentrate on making the right decision.”

Peet’s career spans 30 years in the aviation industry, from Navy flight deck operations and airport operations to sales and marketing. He is a commercial pilot with instrument and multi-engine ratings.
