Yellowstone Aviation (KWYS) Joins Avfuel Corporation’s Global Network of FBOs

Yellowstone Aviation (KWYS) in West Yellowstone, Montana, has chosen Avfuel as their branding partner and fuel supplier. Located only minutes from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park, the FBO opened for the season on May 23 in preparation of increased summer travel to the popular vacation spot. The partnership with Avfuel provides Yellowstone Aviation with a myriad of resources including competitive fuel pricing through Avfuel’s Contract Fuel program, participation in AVTRIP, a pilot rewards program, and access to fuel handing training assistance.

“We chose Avfuel based on their customer service expertise and AVTRIP program. Building and maintaining relationships with our valued customers is at the top of our priority list, and we knew Avfuel shared the same philosophy,” says Sandy Moulton, Manager. And with such a unique location, the experienced staff is more than prepared to assist any pilot’s concerns. “Our staff is very knowledgeable about the local area including flying into or out of Yellowstone Airport and flying over Yellowstone National Park,” according to Moulton.

As the closest FBO to its namesake national treasure, Yellowstone Aviation brings its guests straight to the adventure. Old Faithful, Mammoth Hot Springs, and the Grand Canyon of Yellowstone are only a stone’s throw away. However, one need not even leave the grounds to experience the beauty of the environment – pilots and their passengers can choose to camp alongside their aircraft at Yellowstone Aviation’s own campground, provided by Montana Aeronautics Division and exclusive to pilots flying in to the airport.

And while the scenery is undeniably breathtaking, the FBO itself can certainly hold its own. Amenities include an 8400ft long runway and the capacity to support a wide array of aircraft, ranging from ultralights to military cargo planes and even Air Force One. “We strive to provide outstanding customer service to all of our customers regardless of aircraft size or needs,” says Moulton. Additionally, pilots can relax in a lounge complete with recliners, check weather and plan flights, or recharge with a fresh cup of coffee or tea.

“Yellowstone Aviation is a true standout among FBOs. It manages to seamlessly integrate itself into the surrounding environment while still providing the top-notch personalized service for which the Avfuel brand is known. We are pleased to join forces with Yellowstone Aviation – with our similar customer-oriented ideologies we anticipate a highly mutually beneficial partnership,” says Marci Ammerman, Avfuel’s Vice President, Marketing.
