This prestigious industry award recognizes Phillips 66-branded FBOs for setting new standards in fuel safety performance, program innovation and leadership.

All technicians complete a comprehensive training program, including the in-house Solo Program, which tests trainees under real-world conditions, and the Fuel Panel Class, which focuses on aircraft-specific fueling procedures. The FBO employs advanced technology, such as the NDX Fuel Quality Assurance Program, to enhance fuel quality monitoring and minimize human error. Clark was honored for his dedication to advancing fuel safety practices, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and setting a benchmark for fuel operational standards within the aviation industry. He has spearheaded key safety initiatives including ‘Save a Life, Verify Fuel Type’ public service misfueling prevention campaign and online resources and training materials on TrustedFuel.com. Many FBOs and aviation industry leaders have expressed their appreciation for Clark’s commitment to safety and his contributions in helping them stay current with aviation fuel safety initiatives.
