The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) will be held on May 22-24 despite the fact that some US-based companies reported their inability to attend. A good number of incoming flights is expected and the airport authorities have confirmed readiness for the event.

All the traffic is expected to be served at the Pulkovo-1 newly finished terminal, which became fully operational in December of 2013. The total area of the terminal exceeds 110,000 square meters and it has a maximum capacity of 17 million passengers per year.
