Executive Beechcraft Adds Staff in Key Company Positions

Executive Beechcraft adds some muscle to its management team with the appointment of Barbara Knox as Controller and Valerie Scott as Area Human Resources Manager. The two join the company effective immediately, according to officials, and will be based at the flagship facility located at the Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport in Kansas City, Mo.

“We welcome Barbara and Valerie to the company,” said Scott Tychsen, President of Executive Beechcraft. “We’re confident that they will make invaluable and immediate contributions to our organization.”

In her new position, Scott will be responsible for human resource functions at all four company locations. She will also serve as company liaison for Executive Beechcraft’s parent company, BBA Aviation, based in the United Kingdom.

Scott has a 17-year career in Human Resource Management, with a Bachelor of Science in Management/Human Resources from Park University. Most recently, she worked in a similar capacity for Global Enterprises, an automotive manufacturing company in El Paso, Texas.

Similarly, Knox has an equally impressive professional background. With a successful career track in financial services, she served as Controller/Director of Finance for Kansas City’s Trabon Printing in recent years. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, though she now calls Kansas City home.

In her new capacity, Knox will be responsible for all aspects of financial management for the company’s four Midwest locations, reporting directly to Scott Tychsen.

“Valerie and Barbara’s respective expertise can’t be overstated,” Tychsen said. “We’re lucky to have recruited such depth in these two key positions.”
