Dear Friends of Challenge Air, I write to you today with the good news that Challenge Air for Kids & Friends has received a dollar-for-dollar matching grant from The Meyer Levy Charitable Foundation located in Austin, Texas. The Meyer Levy Charitable Foundation will match up to $20,000 in donations made by December 31st to ensure that the Challenge Air program continues to stay a vital part of our communities for special needs families. At Challenge Air we believe that all children with special needs must be provided with opportunities to expand their individual perspectives and renew their faith in themselves. Part of this belief stems from what we have experienced while serving over 27,500 young participants and families, nationwide. Parents have told us time and again that the knowledge their children obtain after a day with us often manifests itself into a passion to learn more, and to push themselves farther than they ever have before. Challenge Air participants are given the tools for enriching, expanding and strengthening their identities. Their lives are forever changed. This matching challenge presented by The Meyer Levy Charitable Foundation will help us accomplish these goals. If you have already made your annual gift to Challenge Air, thank you. If not, now is the perfect time to double the impact of your gift by December 31st. Your donation of $25 will become $50; your gift of $50 will become $100. Whatever you give will go twice as far. Don't miss this chance to make a gift. Thank you again for your valued support. Happy Holidays, Byron Laszlo Executive Director DONATE NOW P.S. All monetary donations, including motorcycle raffle tickets, gala support (tickets, table sponsorships, and program ads), and end-of-year contributions will be applied towards the matching grant. (All motorcycle raffle tickets purchased on or after Monday, December 14, 2009 will be included as part of this matching opportunity.
