John Burnum Fills New Position at Business Jet Access (DAL)
/Business Jet Access at DAL has named aviation veteran John Burnum Jr. director of business development.
In this new position, Burnum is responsible for sales and marketing for the aircraft maintenance services business.
Prior to joining Business Jet Access, Burnum was regional sales manager for King Aerospace. A 22-year aviation services veteran, Burnum also held key management positions with Gulfstream Aerospace, including completion sales executive, and has served in positions of increasing responsibility with K-C Aviation.
Burnum attended the University of Texas at Dallas, where he majored in economics, and holds an FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate.
“We are pleased to have John Burnum join us as we expand our aircraft maintenance capability,” Business Jet Access general manager Brian Hoffman said. “In transitioning to our new facility, John will play a key role in developing our valued customer relationships.”
Business Jet Access has moved its FAA Part 145 Repair Station, aircraft charter and management businesses to new facilities on 7.5 acres on the South side of Love Field along Denton Drive. In addition to receiving an FAA Part 145 Repair Station certification, BJA was recently awarded ARG/US Platinum rating recertification as well as a Certificate of Registration for the successful implementation of the International Standard for Business Aircraft Operations (IS-BAO).
