ABSG Facilitates FBO Purchase for Heritage Aviation
/Aviation Business Strategies Group (ABSG) has successfully facilitated the purchase of the Atlantic Aviation fixed base operation (FBO) facilities at Burlington International Airport (BTV) for Heritage Aviation.
John Enticknap, President and Founder of ABSG, handled the logistics of the sale, which included an FBO terminal building, fuel farm and three 15,000-square-foot hangars.
“I’m pleased to have the honor of working with the management team at Heritage Aviation in helping them with this acquisition,” Enticknap said. “For Heritage, this purchase gives them the opportunity to add on-field capacity which will help expand both their transient and base customer service offerings.”
According to Heritage President Christopher Hill, Aviation Business Strategies Group was selected to help facilitate the purchase based on their FBO transaction experience.
“We wanted to assemble a strategic acquisition team that could quickly and efficiently bring together all the various elements involved in a purchase of this scale,” Hill said. “In ABSG, we found a consulting partner that could hit the ground running and effectively expedite the process.”
The principals of ABSG have been in the FBO operations and marketing business for more than 30 years. Enticknap was previously President of Mercury Air Centers and grew the FBO network from six locations to more than 20.
