ACSF Announces New Chairman
/The Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) is pleased to announce the selection of Dennis Keith, president and owner of Jet Solutions, LLC, to succeed the current chairman, Jim Christiansen, whose term expires June 30, 2012.
Keith was formerly with Bombardier Aerospace Corporation's Flexjet division for seven years and served as its president for five years. Prior to joining Flexjet, he was with the Frito Lay corporate flight department for 26 years, where he served as a director, chief pilot and mechanic.
He is founder of Keith Products and co-founder of Heads Up Technologies, where he helped design and develop multiple aircraft systems, which were certified through the supplemental type certificate process, and then sold to the aviation market.
Keith has served on the ACSF Board of Governors since the foundation's inception and is a former chairman of the National Air Transportation Association.
He served in the United States Air Force for six years, providing maintenance services for military aircraft. Keith holds both airframe and powerplant and airline transport pilot certificates. He has multiple type ratings and more than 8,500 hours of flight time. Keith is co-author of Federal Aviation Regulations Explained Parts 1, 21, 43, 65, 145, and 147.
