IW Aviation Wins Premium Subscription to AC-U-KWIK at ACA Spring Lunch
/Samanda Omanovic, a flight manager at UK-based IW Aviation, was delighted to win a Premium subscription to AC-U-KWIK at the Air Charter Association's spring lunch at London's Guildhall on Thursday, March 20, 2025. The prize was one of several raffle prizes at the event, where numbered tickets are drawn at random at the end of the event.
Samanda (pictured center) said that she had "really wanted to win it," and with a very high number of raffle tickets being sold during the event, the chances hadn't been high! Almost £5000 was raised in total, with the prizes including a flight in an electric aircraft (Pipistrel Velis Electro), courtesy of Synergy Aviation. Coincidentally, Synergy and the Electro are based at Fairoaks Airport (EGTF), near Farnborough, UK, home of Airportdata.com and AC-U-KWIK.
ACA Chairman Kevin Ducksbury said the Association was on track to reach 500 members by the end of 2025 (Air Charter Guide became at ACA member in 2023). The Association, which is now 76 years old, currently has 435 members in 61 countries.
Ducksbury said there were many challenges facing business aviation but that the most significant was the "perception" of the industry among the general public. He said it was "up to all of us" to help but that ACA had an important role to play - the Association is formulating "consistent messaging" with other associations such as BBGA and EBAA.
