West Star Aviation's Grand Junction FBO (GJT) to Join the Avfuel-Branded Network

West Star Aviation will join forces with Avfuel to brand and supply fuel to its FBO in Grand Junction, Co. Under the terms of the branding agreement West Star Aviation retains full independence of GJT but now will offer customers AVTRIP points and Avfuel Contract Fuel, as well as the many benefits of speed, efficiency and visibility that Avfuel provides. The agreement takes effect in December 2013.

“We are very excited be a partner with the #1 fuel brand in the country. West Star was also ranked in the top 50 FBOs in the country, and we are looking forward to taking this to the next level,” said Teresa Garner, Line Operations Manager of West Star Aviation. “We will be conducting AVTRIP promotions to reward pilots for visiting our Grand Junction location.”

Already on flight departments’ radars for top-notch maintenance (the FBO is known for expertise in airframe repair, engine repair, major modifications, avionics installation, interior refurbishment, paint, parts, window repair and more) West Star Aviation also offers a complete array of fuel and line services, now bolstered by Avfuel’s vast supply network and rigorous quality assurance standards and training procedures.

“Fueling and ramp services are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” said Garner. “Type 1 and Type 4 deicing is available, and the ramp is protected by 24-hour surveillance. Additionally, the lack of congestion in the air and on the ground makes GJT an idea fuel stop.” She went on to point out that West Star is an excellent location for cross country quick turns as well as a destination for winter diversions.
