Owen Busch Joins World Fuel Services

Owen Busch has joined the Business & General Aviation team at World Fuel Services as VP Bulk Fuel Sales.  Busch reports to Michael Clementi and is responsible for bulk sales, marketing, dispatch, equipment and World’s overall branded and unbranded bulk offering for the US business & general aviation market.  Busch will work in close partnership with Michael Szczechowski, Senior VP Business & General Aviation Sales who is responsible for Alliance contract fuel sales, BaseOps, and international activity.  Warren Boin, VP of Card Programs who is responsible for card programs including AVCARD and FlyBuys Rewards will also work closely with Busch.

Busch has a long trajectory in the aviation industry having managed business development at Signature Flight Support and supply and business development for Avfuel Corporation. Most recently, Busch was VP of Commercial Sales for Atlas Oil Company – a large “super” regional land fuel supplier to both retail and commercial customers.  Each of these companies afforded Busch extensive marketing and trade show experience specific to the aviation and fuel supply industries.

Busch holds an undergraduate degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and a MBA from the University of Michigan. He is a current member of the Embry-Riddle University FBO Advisory Committee and has served as Chairman of the National Air Transportation Association (NATA) Environmental Committee from 2009-2012.
