CAN Benefit at NBAA's 2013 Convention to Feature Music From 'The Fab Four'

NBAA is pleased to announce that the NBAA/CAN Soiree will feature live music from “The Fab Four,” a highly acclaimed Beatles tribute band. The Soiree, which is held during the Convention each year to raise funds for the Corporate Aviation Network’s life-saving work to deliver cancer patients to treatment centers, will be held Wednesday evening, Oct. 23, at the Wynn Las Vegas resort.

Internationally renowned for their performances of classic songs by The Beatles, The Fab Four pride themselves on precise attention to detail and uncanny, note-for-note live renditions of such memorable songs as “Can't Buy Me Love,” “Yesterday,” “A Day In The Life,” “Twist And Shout,” “Here Comes The Sun” and “Hey Jude.” Soiree participants will have an opportunity to see the tribute to one of history’s most memorable bands as many of its fans celebrate the 50th anniversary of 1963, the year widely recognized as the one that introduced the world to “Beatlemania” and the British Invasion.

Audiences around the world have thrilled to this loving tribute to The Beatles, which transports viewers back to the 1960s, and allows them to imagine they are seeing John, Paul, George and Ringo perform before them.

“The NBAA/CAN Soiree offers the opportunity to come together for an enjoyable evening of entertainment in the spirit of unity, with the additional benefit of supporting a noble effort in the business aviation community,” said NBAA President and CEO Ed Bolen. “We are pleased to join with the Corporate Angel Network in presenting this amazing group of performers as the evening’s entertainment.”

In addition to an evening of entertainment, the NBAA/CAN Soiree will also offer live and silent auctions to help CAN continue its work to match empty seats on business airplanes with cancer patients needing air transport to specialized treatment facilities.

Additional details on the NBAA/CAN Soiree, including a listing of the live and silent auction packages available for bid, will be announced in the coming weeks.

About 25,000 business aviation professionals from across the United States and around the world will meet Oct. 22 to 24 in Las Vegas, NV, for NBAA2013. The event offers the premier opportunity for aircraft-purchase decision makers, entrepreneurs and other business leaders to meet and conduct business, make buying decisions and discuss current trends involving the use of an aircraft for business purposes.
