Multi Service Aero® Cobranded AVCARD Preferred in Europe

With the backdrop of the 2014 European Business Aviation Conference & Exhibition (EBACE 2014), World Fuel Services announced today that the Multi Service Aero® Card (MS Aero) is now the preferred aviation charge card for cardholders in Europe. The new card combines the benefits of both AVCARD and MS Aero into one card. Cardholders benefit from the airPortfolio on-line account management system, automatic rewards through the FlyBuys Rewards Program and the ease of locating accepting merchants through World Fuel Services’ new FuelFinder app for iPad.

The MS Aero Card—a co-branded AVCARD—is a full-service aviation charge card accepted at more than 7,600 locations in 190 countries. Cardholders need just this one, powerful "Everything" card to pay for fuel, ground handling, maintenance, charters, catering, flight training and many other aviation services at FBOs, fuel suppliers, MROs, training centers and other merchants around the globe. Cardholders use airPortfolio, the confidential, on-line account management system to conveniently track their fuel cost, retrieve invoices and generate customizable reports.

When an MS Aero Card is linked to an active FlyBuys Rewards® Program account, all card purchases earn cardholders automatic rewards. As an added bonus, FlyBuys Rewards multiply when purchases are made at FBOs within the World Fuel Services Network, when trip planning services are purchased through BaseOps International and when purchases are made at an Air Elite Diamond Service FBO location.

World Fuel Services’ new FuelFinder mobile app for iPad allows registered World Fuel Services account holders to search FBOs for acceptance of MS Aero & AVCARD aviation charge cards, pricing data for World Fuel Services—Alliance Contract Fuel, and other FBO services that are available at specific locations. The smart, location-based fuel discovery tool displays nearby FBOs based on the location of the user’s device. Registered users can also request fuel estimates and check the status of existing fuel orders

World Fuel Services will celebrate the newly-designed MS Aero Card—“The Everything Card”—and its added benefits with a special FlyBuys Rewards promotion at EBACE 2014. New members who sign up will earn 1,000 rewards points and merchants or FBOs who join the FlyBuys merchant network will be credited 10,000 rewards points, which can be used to grow or attract new business. Also, daily drawings will be held on May 20-21, 2014, which will give attendees a chance to win either a Rock Star package or 100,000 FlyBuys Rewards points.
