Cowboy Aviation’s (KLAR) New State-Of-The-Art FBO Open For Business

Cowboy Aviation, located at the Laramie Regional Airport (KLAR)  in Laramie, Wyoming, is proud to announce the completion of a stunning new FBO facility. Thanks to grants from the state of Wyoming and support from the University of Wyoming, the City of Laramie, Albany County and a number of private donors, every little detail was addressed. This facility is sure to satisfy customers’ desires for comfort and convenience.

This project was by no means a simple restoration, but rather a complete overhaul of the facilities and surroundings, with construction of the FBO itself taking upwards of ten months. “We are confident that our new building will take us well into the future,” said Jack Skinner, Airport Manager. With a pristine facility and the latest amenities, pilots can relax in comfort or be on their way with a quick turn. What was once a humble building from the 1940s now boasts a grand lobby, a sizable conference room, a flight planning room, two sleep rooms and a lounge. While the recently constructed FBO building is open for business, the staff is working on final touches to the grounds areas.

As for convenience, Cowboy Aviation’s location cannot be beat. Due in part to its high altitude – approximately 7,200ft – it is the ideal stop on a cross-country trek. A short descent makes quick turns that much faster and Laramie’s 300 days of sunshine promise minimal complications. Additionally, Cowboy Aviation’s economical contract fuel prices make Cowboy Aviation not only a convenient stop, but a smart stop as well. “Avfuel’s Contract Fuel program allows us to keep our fuel prices extremely competitive” says Jack Skinner.

“Going the extra mile for our customers is Avfuel’s top priority and Cowboy Aviation clearly shares that mindset. We are thrilled for Cowboy Aviation and are excited to celebrate their grand opening,” said Marci Ammerman, Vice President Marketing.
