/AC-U-KWIK — part of the Aviation Week Network — has made a monetary donation in sponsorship of the 2016 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Scholarship Program.
Scholarships will be awarded at the Opening General Session on Wednesday, Jan. 20, at the 2016 NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference in Tampa, Fla.
The monetary scholarship awards up to $10,000 for education to schedulers and dispatchers or those who are pursuing a career in the field.
“AC-U-KWIK and the entire Aviation Week Network are proud to sponsor the NBAA Schedulers & Dispatchers Scholarship Program,” Frank Craven, managing director of the Aviation Week Network business aviation group, says. “Schedulers and dispatchers are vitally important members of flight departments. Each day, we aim to help schedulers and dispatchers achieve success in their careers by providing accurate airport, ground handling and other aviation support services data to their flight departments. This scholarship is an effective way to help these dedicated professionals excel and propel business aviation.”
Since 1997, 148 people have received more than $620,700 in scholarship awards. AC-U-KWIK has supported the program since 2007.
Including AC-U-KWIK, nine companies have sponsored the 2016 monetary scholarships.
