Cardinal Air Supports History of Aviation at Annual Fly-In Event

Being held Saturday, June 11, from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Asheboro Municipal Airport (KHBI), is a fly-in event that’s attracted attendees for the past twenty years. Funds from the event benefit the North Carolina Aviation Museum and Hall of Fame.

Cardinal Air, a Phillips 66 Aviation FBO, proudly serves KHBI, and will provide quality fuel and aircraft maintenance to travelers flying into the airport to attend the air show. Cardinal Air will also provide the fuel to propel the event’s vintage plane flyovers. Many types of aircraft, both historic and current, will be on hand for viewing. The event will also include historical re-enactors and various food and souvenir vendors.

According to the North Carolina Aviation Facebook page, a mystery, three million dollar warbird aircraft will be making a special appearance.

Admission is $10 at the gate per person. Parking is free. Rain date for event is Sunday, June 12.
