Stellar Aviation Expands with Acquisition of Horizon Aviation at the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport (KSPI)

Stellar Aviation Group announced that it has acquired Horizon Aviation. Horizon, located at the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport in Springfield, Ill., was a FBO service provider at KSPI.

The Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport, under strong leadership and management, has grown its infrastructure and services throughout the last decade.  The Airport currently provides extensive airline service and military support.  Additionally, KSPI hosts a robust and growing GA and Corporate Aircraft community.

With the Airport’s new GA terminal and hangar rehabilitation project on the horizon to house Stellar, Springfield’s infrastructure will be significantly enhanced to meet its growing visitors and business groups.
