W Aviation FBO Completes Phase 1 of a Two-Phase Aviation Development Project

W Aviation announced the near completion of phase one of a two-phase aviation development project at their FBO Campus at KFXE projected for completion by December of this year. Pre-leasing information and offerings along with next phase renderings will be available throughout the NBAA show at booth C10321.

Covering 8.53 acres of land, Phase 1 consists of a pair of 20,000 square foot hangars with 5,500 square feet of adjoining office space and an expansion of 155,000 square feet of parking apron located on the northwest corner of the airport. The individual hangars are large enough to shelter a variety of aircraft sizes up to a Gulfstream 650, heavy body aircraft. Phase 2 of the project encompasses a two-story 24,000 square foot executive terminal projected to commence in 2018. W Aviation has additional land at the airport for future expansion to come.

“We are proud to be a part of the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport community and are thrilled to be near completion of phase 1 of the development project," said Ignacio Martinez, W Aviation’s owner/chief executive officer. "Our expanded ramp, new hangars and office space will allow for W Aviation to provide first-class aviation services to more domestic and international aircraft coming inbound to South Florida along with the growth of long-term general aviation businesses at the airport.”
