World Fuel Services Expands Trip Support Reach with Toluca, Mexico Regional Office

World Fuel Services (WFS) announced that its World Fuel/Colt Trip Support Regional Office is now operational in Toluca, Mexico. To meet the growing demand of business aviation operators, the office focuses on providing full-service flight planning and trip support to Mexican operators flying internationally and all operators flying into Mexico and the greater Latin America region. The Trip Support team, based in Toluca, is positioned to provide regulatory and ground support in local languages. Their regional expertise provides them with the knowledge and experience to best manage trip support challenges and to stay ahead of local regulatory changes.

With advance knowledge of regional events and regulations, operators can expect higher service levels on trips, faster problem resolution, and better turn-around times on requests,” said Joel Purdom, World Fuel Services’ Senior Vice President of Global Operations.

The Toluca office, which official grand opening was celebrated on July 12, 2017, is the newest addition in the company's expansion of trip support resources bringing their total regional storefronts to eight: Latin America (Brazil and Mexico), EMEA (Switzerland and South Africa), APAC (Singapore and Shanghai), and North America (Canada and United States). These improvements are all part of WFS’ unmatched investment in both technology and local resources to ensure smoother international operations for customers.

As with WFS’ other regional trip support offices, the Toluca office is backed up by a 24/7 Global Operations Team based in Houston, Texas, and is integrated into the company’s trip support technology, which allows operators open access to information and seamless support throughout Latin America and around the globe.
