Rectrix MRO Completes Rockwell Collins Proline 21 Advanced Upgrade Installation

Rectrix MRO, Inc., an FAA Part 145 Repair Station (CRS# QFYR349K) located at Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport (KBAF), recently completed a Rockwell Collins ProLine 21 Advanced upgrade installation for a customer’s Bombardier Challenger 300 with a flawless operational check flight following the aircraft’s release. The complex upgrade makes the aircraft compliant with upcoming U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) NextGen avionics requirements and updates the avionics suite to the latest technology available for that airframe. During the Proline 21 Advanced installation, Rectrix MRO also outfitted the aircraft with a new dual IFIS system, ADS-B Out, FANs 1A+ over Iridium Datalink, Remote Database dataloader, cabin refurbishment, and a 12/24/48 month inspection.

The FAA’s Automatic Dependent Surveillance Broadcast (ADS-B) requirements for all aircraft flying in controlled airspace go into effect January 1, 2020. ADS-B requirements will take effect in Europe June 7, 2020. Last year Rectrix MRO expanded its services for Rockwell Collins-equipped aircraft and today Rectrix MRO can service nearly every avionics need of most business and regional aircraft.
