History Night at the Fargo Air Museum

The Fargo Air Museum is hosting their quarterly History Night Tuesday, November 12. History Night: Myths and Fallacies of MiGs features guest speaker William Ward, a pilot with 25 years of experience flying MiG aircraft. His presentation uncovers the many misconceptions surrounding the MiG-23 Flogger and MiG-25 Foxbat series.

The event begins at 6:30pm followed by a Q/A with the speaker. A $10 donation is requested, no pre-registration required. Museum members are invited to attend the event at no cost.

Since North Dakota was, in essence, on the frontlines of the Cold War, Will Ward's presentation on Soviet Airpower during that era will help provide History Night attendees with a very unique look at the United States 'adversaries' during that time in history. I've known Mr. Ward for several years now, and if I know one thing about him, it's that he is extremely passionate about telling the story of the Soviet Union's aircraft & capabilities. Not only has he researched the jets he will be speaking about, but Will is also a career pilot and owner of a Soviet-built MiG-17 & MiG-23 Flogger. For many aviation enthusiasts in the F/M area, this will be an interesting History Night that you won't want to miss!” -Max Sabin, Fargo Air Museum Collections Manager
