El Aero Aviation Has a New President
/Kathy Gilbert will be flying in new circles soon, as she bids goodbye to Nevada. Serving the aviation community for the past 23 years, she rose through the ranks of the company from Controller to President of the company in 1991. She successfully managed El Aero aviation businesses in Ely, Carson City and Elko, Nev.
Kathy has warmly welcomed her successor, Ginna Reyes, into the El Aero family. Ginna Reyes is relocating to Elko from Carlsbad, Calif., where she has been actively involved in general aviation for the past 13 years. Most recently she worked as General Manager of Western Flight, a fixed base operation on Palomar Airport in Carlsbad, Calif.
“I am excited to be involved in the El Aero business, and look forward to completing the projects Kathy laid the groundwork on” Reyes said. El Aero has just broken ground on the new Elko FBO and hangar. It is slated for an October, 2008, completion date. "This will be a terrific addition to the regional airport for welcoming folks to Elko," Reyes said.
El Aero Aviation provides air charter service (both helicopter and fixed wing), fire suppression, FAA certified aircraft repair stations, as well as flight instruction and has a reputation for excellent customer service, with full-service FBO locations in Carson City and Elko, Nev.
