This is Banyan’s third year exhibiting at LABACE and this event will offer Banyan the opportunity to see existing customers and establish new contacts. Bracero said that this year Banyan was focused on promoting all of its different departments, which include FBO services, turbine airframe and engine maintenance, avionics installations, aircraft part, aircraft sales, Hangar63 (Banyan’s Aviation Store) and Tropic Aero (aviation electronics catalog and on-line store).

The Banyan team and the new FBO have recently been recognized in Professional Pilot Magazine as #1 best independent FBO and #2 best FBO in the United States. Banyan’s 24-hour FBO offers fuel (Avfuel), ground services and a host of additional services including hangar space to accommodate aircraft up to a Gulfstream 550, and Bahamas and Caribbean travel assistance. (United States Customs is on the field and is open daily from 9 am – 9 pm.)

Banyan’s aircraft maintenance department is both FAA and EASA approved and has also earned repair station designations for Argentina, Brazil and Venezuela. The maintenance department specializes in King Air, Citation, Hawker and Learjet inspections, heavy turbine airframe and engine maintenance, structural repairs and modifications, interior refurbishment and exterior painting.

Brian Wilson, Banyan’s Director of Avionics, will be available at LABACE to discuss Banyan’s avionics services. The Banyan avionics team offers avionics installation and services for all turbine aircraft up to and including large corporate aircraft such as Gulfstreams, Falcons, Challengers and Boeing Business Jets. Banyan’s avionics services include cockpit upgrades to flat panel displays, multi-regional TV systems, high-speed data with WI-FI, and advanced entertainment systems as well as a host of solutions to replace the aging Magnastar phone system. The avionics department is also FAA and EASA approved and is an authorized dealer for all major avionics manufacturers.

Banyan’s aircraft parts sales specialists will be represented by Diana Hernandez. Hernandez is responsible for creating and managing Banyan’s King Air and Citation rotable program. She manages more than 100 components in inventory and is working on having 75 more by the end of 2008. The rotables all have fresh tags and come with a warranty. Besides the rotable program, Banyan offers spare parts and components for airframes, engines, avionics and propellers. The parts department is a factory authorized parts distributor for Beechcraft/King Air and Twin Commander, but can provide parts ranging from an experimental aircraft to a Boeing Business Jet.
