Snapshots of New FBOs from Around the World
/A quick look at the newest FBOs openings and upgrades from Paris to Queenstown, New Zealand:
- At Paris Le Bourget, LFPB, Landmark Aviation Paris will be celebrating the inauguration of their new Terminal building on June 26. This follows the recent refurbishment of Universal Weather & Aviation's facility at the same airport with further developments also taking place at Le Bourget based UniJet and Advanced Air Support. Embraer will start work in September with plans to almost double the size of their Executive Jets maintenance and customer support facility. In November, the airport is due to see the opening of a new 4-star Marriott hotel.
- At Belfast International, EGAA, Jet Assist Business Jet Centre opened early this month. The spacious facility, previously operated by EuroJet, is located next to the GA ramp, has its own security screening, passenger and crew lounges and all standard FBO amenities. As a member of the World Fuel Services FBO network, Jet Assist has Ascent branded fuel supply and offers competitive Jet A-1 pricing. Belfast International is strategically located on the North Atlantic Eastern Seaboard and is a full 24H, no night curfew, airport with multiple runways.
- At Johannesburg O R Tambo, FAOR, Fireblade Aviation will be launching a brand new world class FBO facility from August this year - stay tuned for opening details.
