Sunset Acquisition Fortifies JetDirect's West Coast Presence

JetDirect Aviation Holding's recent acquisition of Sunset Aviation will add a ninth regional base of operations and grow its combined fleet to 130-plus managed aircraft. Aircraft in JetDirect's fleet ranges from light jets to wide body long-range aircraft.

Members of Sunset's management team -- including Dan Drohan, president and chief executive officer -- will continue overseeing operations at six airports in California and support other JetDirect businesses. The 25 aircraft managed by Sunset will support JetDirect's retail charter business and Sentient Jet Membership Program.

JetDirect has three FBOs, located at the Chester County Airport in Coatesville, Pa., at the Spirit of St. Louis Airport in Chesterfield, Mo. and at Dallas Love Field in Dallas.
